WENDY MCKENZIE

Longtime Bisley villager Wendy McKenzie spent her career teaching finance to senior management teams around the world, and hadn’t picked up a paintbrush since she was thirteen.
Then a surprise Christmas present from a desperate husband, who had no idea what to get her, changed everything.
‘Ten Painting Lessons for Beginners' uncovered both ability and a passion, and -  inspired by her love of the countryside in all its forms, the trees, rivers and flowers - she set about putting down on canvas the images that caught her imagination. You can see some of the results below.
All are painted in oils, and are available to buy direct from Wendy.
Please email her to discuss.

If you are an artist living in or near Bisley, or you have a connection to the village, we would love to feature you and your work on the website.
There is no charge.
Please contact us by email.
The work of many of the artists featured  here can be seen regularly at The Stirrup Cup, where  the landlord Julian Partridge kindly allows them to display their paintings, and where they can be bought at very reasonable prices.
