BISLEY AMATEUR THEATRICAL SOCIETY
Warm summer evenings are not usually associated with pantomimes, but it was in 2004 at a Bearsfield barbeque that Bisley Amateur Theatrical Society came into being.
The following January the first pantomime, Cinderella - written by local Alec Hamilton - was performed to a sell-out audience.
The tradition of Bisley’s annual pantomime is now well-established.
Alongside those treading the boards there is a wide range of creatives, technicians, and others who work together to ensure the panto is an enjoyable experience for participants and audiences.
If you have a skill, BATS will put it to good use; if you don’t, we will find one you didn’t know you had!
With the support of our community, BATS has raised thousands of pounds towards our village hall’s running costs and also helped fund items such as modular staging, sound systems, projection facilities, rewiring, and specialist lighting.
