Bisley Farm Shop
The excellent Bisley Farm Shop is run by village farmers Kate and Mark Andrews, and offers beef, pork, and lamb raised on their farm a mile away, along with venison, a wide variety of (often locally-grown) vegetables and fruit, artisan Gloucestershire cheeses, and lots of plants, seeds, and bulbs.
The Padstow Fish Company and the very well-regarded Severn and Wye Smokery supply fresh and cured fish.
There's a milk dispenser, too, where you can pour yourself a litre or half-litre of milk from just down the hill in Stonehouse.
Until recently, the shop was run by the Dickenson family - the late Jim Dickenson, who died aged 89 in early 2019, was famous throughout the west country and beyond for his honey, six to eight tonnes of which is produced annually by bees in 350 hives around the village and at other sites on the Cotswold Hills, as far as Berkeley Vale. The farm shop still sells Dickensons honey, produced by Jim's son Keith (or his bees).
