Jilly Cobbe, Artist
Jilly Cobbe moved to the village with her late husband Joe and their sons more than forty years ago.
After the children left home, Jilly took a degree in Fine Art Drawing.
Wildlife, especially birds, remain constant and endlessly fascinating subjects for her; she also paints abstract works and pictures of buildings that interest her (such as that of the Bear Inn below), and is a keen conservationist.
You can see some of her work on her own website, or on her page on this website. It is available to buy at The George Stores in Bisley, at The Green Shop, and at The Stroud Bookshop, or via Jilly direct. Please contact her to discuss commissions, prices and availability via her website or via email.
