The village shop is currently closed, pending a new lessee. The Post Office remains open, but will close at the end of February 2025.

For many months, Rob has been in negotiations with the current leaseholder of the George Stores, Rob's plan being to take over the lease and re-open the shop.
Unfortunately, Rob has been unable to complete the agreement with the leaseholder, and in early January he reluctantly stepped away from the project.
Thus it seems likely that the shop will continue only as a Post Office for the time being.
Obviously if things change and the parties let us know we'll post the information here.
